Photo session with my sister

My sister was in town for the holidays and we decided to make a fun photo shoot. Here's a few pictures...There will be more to come in a couple of days.

As you may have noticed, I am working hard on developing my black and white skill. I think, in photography, black and white is the hardest of all techniques, because you need to master the light. In black and white, your picture is either good or bad. Every details count and you can easily notice flaws.

I am loving more and more black and white pictures. I will still do color ;-) but, bnw brings other emotions to the photograph.

Here is a few shots I did for a family photo shoot. It was so much fun! The kids were great!

At the end of the shoot I asked them if they wanted to play the model and make any poses they wanted. It came out pretty good actually. Sometimes, you just have to let kids be kids and you could be surprise of the final result.

I am a freelance photographer located in Edmonton, Alberta, out to capture the world with my Nikon. I love being behind the camera and take photograph of anything that catches my eye. I have had a creative eye for photography my entire life. Whether it is a stroll in the park, a smile or child laughter, capturing life’s simple, but timeless, moments is what I live for.

I believe that a portrait should reflect the personality of the individual being photographed. To capture images which are memorable, you need a dedicated and creative photographer who takes the time to get to know her clients and their interests.

Please allow plenty of time when scheduling your session. I do all my own editing and photographing. I love to work with my clients, so don’t be shy if you have any special requests.

My goal is to create portraits that capture the unique spirit and character of everyone that I photograph, and to provide my clients with fine art images of the highest quality.

Creative fee
Engagement, Belly, New born, Child and Family portrait
$150 non-refundable.

The non-refundable creative fee is required in advance to secure your session date and covers artist’s time/talent only. It provides you with a 1-2 hour on-location photo session, for up to 4 people ($25 for each additional person) and a 7 day password protected online gallery of at least 20 proofs from which to select images to purchase.

Creative fee detailed:
-Photographer time and talent only;
-In person or on-phone consult;
-Up to 2 hours of shooting time and 2 locations;
-All sessions are on-location and not in a traditional studio;
-Basic retouching in my personal digital darkroom to customize your images;
-A private password protected online gallery for personal viewing and sharing with family and friends is available for 7 days (if you need more than 7 days, there will be an extra fee of $50 for each week needed).

10% off to use toward your print/product order within the first 7 days of your gallery posting (not available with session packages).
